We are looking for a motivated Account Executive to oversee the Irvine and Mission Viejo, CA territories in this unique community‑based opportunity, specifically focused on partnered community colleges. Starting salary is

$75,000 per year

with an earning potential of a six‑figure income after 5 years of successful service as an Account Executive/University Development Counselor.

New hire training will be held in‑person at our Phoenix, AZ campus.

Typical Week

Strategy and execution: Identify and implement event/activity plans for your territory, build awareness of our online academic programs for education, healthcare and business, and drive inquiry generation. Execute daily work through informational presentations, calls and emails, iterating as needed to maximize value.

Partner and influencer: Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students, their families and partners via in‑person, phone or email, championing the GCE mission and promoting Grand Canyon University student success and institutional growth.

Heart and Hustle: Show out‑of‑the‑box critical thinking skills to support prospective students through the admissions process and guide them toward a successful online learning experience.

The role might be right for you if you have:

A Bachelor’s degree and no delinquent or in‑default federal student loan (credit report verification).

Outstanding time‑management skills, able to prioritize competing priorities and traveling when required.

Clear communication skills, comfortable speaking, writing and listening in person, via phone and email.

Self‑motivation and drive to succeed, taking ownership of time spent with students.

High emotional intelligence, coaching diverse students and building partner relationships.

A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and willingness to travel; clean driving record.

Computer literacy: proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to use digital tools for accountability.

Experience working with CRM tools.
