Requirements for Lead Teacher
Minimum of a high‑school diploma or equivalent
45 hours of Child Growth and Development coursework
45 hours of Preschool Curriculum (required if leading 2‑5‑year‑olds)
45 hours of Infant‑Toddler Certificate (required if leading 6 wk‑24 mo‑olds)
Minimum one year of experience working with infants in a licensed childcare facility or 30 college credits
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Demonstrated knowledge of the various stages of social, emotional, and intellectual development
Commitment to ongoing professional development
Physical ability to stand, bend, squat, jump, dance, walk, run, reach, carry, and lift up to 50 lb.
Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Development or related field (preferred)
Job Details
Job Type: Full‑time and Part‑time positions available
Location: One location – telework is not an option (in‑person)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 am–6:00 pm (full‑time 8 h; part‑time 3+ h per day)
Salary: $17.00 – $20.00 per hour
