Registered/Enrolled Nurse – General Medical, Peninsula Private Hospital
Join Peninsula Private Hospital as a Registered or Enrolled Nurse in our Waratah Ward, a 30‑bed acute general medical ward. The role is permanent part‑time, with a rotating roster. Reporting to the Nurse Unit Manager, you will assess, plan, coordinate and evaluate care delivery to ensure high‑quality patient care.
Perform duties within your scope of practice to meet the hospital’s core values and strategic direction.
Provide compassionate, patient‑centred care and maintain high standards of hygiene and safety.
Participate in quality improvement processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, communicate effectively with patients, families and staff.
About You To succeed you will be committed to customer service, have strong communication and interpersonal skills, and be able to work flexibly within a rotating roster.
Current registration with AHPRA.
Minimum 4 years acute medical ward experience (Registered or Enrolled).
Knowledge of quality/continuous improvement processes.
Excellent work ethic, time‑management skills and a teamwork mindset.
Remuneration Base hourly rate ranges from $32.85–$38.46 for Enrolled Nurses (VIC EEN gr1–gr8) and $36.13–$49.96 for Registered Nurses (VIC RN/Midwife gr1–gr8), plus superannuation. Rates depend on experience and qualifications.
