Overview As part of the health care team, pharmacy is a knowledge-based clinical profession that integrates patient-oriented services with traditional distributive and drug control activities. The pharmacist provides pharmaceutical services including drug information to nurses, physicians, and other healthcare providers, and advises them with respect to drug interactions, contraindications, and other relevant information to ensure optimal and safe drug therapy. Serves all patients, including but not limited to neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Pharmacy.
Georgia Pharmacist License.
Preferred Qualifications
One (1) year of previous hospital pharmacy experience.
Good communication skills.
