Oregon Medical Group, part of the Optum family, is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to join our team in Eugene, OR. The position serves patients, providers, and support staff by performing diagnostic X‑rays and routine procedures using radiology equipment.
Primary Responsibilities
Position patients and adjust equipment for taking X‑rays following established procedures
Instruct patients regarding procedures
Follow prescribed safety standards in operating all required radiologic equipment
Select length and intensity for radiation exposure by adjusting equipment on an individual patient basis
Examine radiologic images for properties such as density, contrast, definition, magnification, and distortion
Ensure equipment is in working order. Report equipment malfunctions to supervisor
Process routine paperwork
Maintain patient confidentiality
Participate in professional development activities and maintain professional affiliations
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved (two‑year) school and meets the requirements for registry by the ARRT
Current certification with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
Current Oregon license in diagnostic radiography or ability to obtain licensure within 30 days of employment
Healthcare provider level CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of employment
Preferred Qualification
Experience with an electronic medical record system
Compensation and Benefits The hourly rate for this role is $23.70 to $46.35 per hour for full‑time employment, based on local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, and other factors.
