Assistant Delivery Manager – Indotronix Avani Group
Location:

Mon‑Fri 7am‑3:30pm, OT as needed
Pay Range:
$22.00/hr – $22.00/hr (actual pay based on skills and experience)
Your Role:
Work in an entry‑level position under training and guidance, progressing to independent duties as you gain experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Issue material under proper authorization; process and file required records, including picking up, hauling, and delivering materials and operating company automotive equipment.
Check received material for quantity; perform visual inspections for identity, breakage, and condition; initiate and process material receipt and related records.
Report irregularities and abnormal conditions.
Identify, sort, and record returned material; place usable items in stock and send non‑usable items to scrap containers; record applicable information and process related records.
Operate computer terminals and printers supporting a materials management system, and other office equipment such as calculators and scanners.
Prepare and pack material for shipment or storage, including shipping papers and related records. This may include shipping and receiving hazardous material (e.g., gasoline, oil, PCB‑containing oil, lead‑acid batteries) under required safety and environmental procedures.
Operate material handling equipment such as hand trucks, forklift trucks, low‑lift trucks, hoists, overhead cranes, order pickers, or other equipment as required.
Assist supervisor with maintaining efficient storage of materials, rearranging or changing bins and racks, and making material location changes.
Assist in maintaining adequate inventory levels through cycle counts; perform discrepancy adjustments with appropriate approval and process all associated records.
Assist employees of equal or higher classification.
Perform similar or less skilled work as needed.
Perform duties in accordance with company safety rules, operating regulations, and practice.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED.
A minimum of one year of work experience in inventory control, material handling, warehousing, or related fields.
Basic computer skills; experience with inventory management software such as Maximo and Microsoft Excel and Word preferred.
Knowledge of logistics related to shipping and relocating inventory; basic math skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
Physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds; successful completion of the Physical Ability Test (PAT) required.
Valid State driver’s license; commercial driver’s license (CDL) may be required within six months of entry.
Ability to operate material handling equipment, including motorized forklifts and road vehicles.
Dress Code & PPE:
Steel Toe Boots required. Jeans (long pants) and T‑shirt (no inappropriate words or pictures) acceptable. All other PPE provided. Eye glasses require side shields; client does not provide them.
Travel & Vehicle Use:
Some local travel may be required; client vehicles may be driven. Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) will be required for this position.
