We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) for GMU Med Surg. Responsibilities
You will exercise judgement and provide direction regarding patient care assignments using established policies/procedures. You will operationalize evidence‑based practices to enhance patient safety and quality outcomes. You will assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient, high quality patient‑centered care. You will reflect core values when interacting with co‑workers, patients, family members, and others in the community to foster employee engagement and unparalleled patient care. You will support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by participating initiatives including employee rounding, hourly rounds and more. You will function as a resource person for staff members providing coaching, feedback and training to improve performance and engagement. You will recommend and implement courses of action, including training and development, conflict resolution, personnel policy compliance, completion of performance evaluations, and/or disciplinary actions to ensure a competitively superior organization. Assists with staff scheduling and supports proper inventory control of supplies and equipment and performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications
Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing Associates Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma Required BSN preferred Current CPR certification from American Heart Association required 1+ year applicable experience preferred About Sunrise Hospital
