Paint Booth Operator

Brief Description The Paint Booth Operator is responsible for all beams and processes associated with repaints, including sanding, prep, and painting. This person will be accountable for the safety, quality, and efficiency of Paint Booth operations and will support other plant areas as needed.
Shift
Days: Monday‑Thursday, 5:00 AM – 3:30 PM
Duties and Responsibilities
Painting re‑paint product from the Pultrusion department
Properly recording chemical usage
Painting product according to GEOTEK standards of quality
During slow periods or drying times, assisting in Pultrusion, Secondary, Packaging, or Shipping areas as required
Improving Paint Booth area processes for efficiency
Supporting inventory and EPA emissions reporting by timely chemical usage reports
Job Requirements
Close attention to detail
Ability to read and write in English
Mechanically inclined; able to read a tape measure
Able to work independently and lead with minimal supervision
Excellent communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and problem‑solving skills
Strong emphasis on quality, productivity, and safety
Compensation Compensation range: $21.25 – $26.50 per hour. Final offers may vary based on experience, skills, and qualifications. The posted range represents expected earning potential within the current organizational budget and market conditions.
Physical Work Conditions
Position is on the production floor, standing up to 12 hours a day
Work with or around power tools, loud equipment, and chemicals
Lift up to 50 pounds regularly
