Job Description Job Summary:
The Clinic Manager V is responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of a multi‑specialty clinic on a single site. The role requires leading, delegating, and managing clinic missions, goals, budgets, and performance standards while communicating with staff, physicians, patients, public, and external agencies. The Clinic Manager V must be extremely organized, able to lead and supervise multiple employees simultaneously, and possess skills in data gathering and interpretation, independent judgment, decision‑making, and problem‑solving.
Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare‑related field OR five years of related experience OR prior experience as a Clinic Manager within CoxHealth.
Experience:
Preferred: Management experience in a healthcare setting.
Skills:
Knowledge of ICD and CPT coding and its impact on reimbursement from third‑party payers.
Strong grammatical and business communication skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams.
Proficient computer skills.
Successful completion of all department‑specific credentialing within the first 90 days of employment.
Leadership, budgeting, policy, procedure, and organizational structure knowledge.
Licensure / Certification / Registration:
None required.
