How You'll Contribute
Provides direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with scope and standards of practice.
Performs plan of care interventions, including medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
Documents patient care delivered.
Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition to the care team, physicians, patients, and families.
Assists patients with activities of daily living: personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.
Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care, including transfers, discharge, referrals, and psychosocial support.
Evaluates learning needs of patients/families and provides education appropriate to age, culture, and condition.
Advocates for the physical and emotional well‑being of patients.

What We're Looking For
Education:
Associate’s degree required; BSN preferred.
Required Skills:
Critical thinking, decisive judgment, ability to work with minimal supervision; able to work in a stressful environment.
Certifications:
BLS within 90 days of hire; ACLS within 90 days; PALS within 90 days; Handle With Care (HWC) within 6 months.
Licenses:
Licensed Registered Nurse in Tennessee or from a Compact State with appropriate Tennessee paperwork filed within 30 days of hire.
