Lynch Consultants, LLC is seeking a highly motivated
Financial Analyst
with Department of Defense (DoD) financial management experience to join our team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality financial reporting, analysis, and operational support to a government comptroller organization while developing your expertise in federal financial management and fiscal execution.

Work Location and Schedule: Ft. Belvoir, VA (Remote, but must be flexible for on-site when needed)
Salary Range:
Up to $74,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
Key Qualifications – Must Have:
U.S. Citizenship
Active
Secret Clearance
3+ years
of experience specific to
DoD Financial Management
Strong understanding of
DoD financial operations
Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
Key Responsibilities:
Support the preparation and analysis of financial reports to enhance decision-making.
Review and analyze
Unliquidated Obligations (ULOs) ; identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain and update
SharePoint-based financial tracking systems .
Extract and analyze data from enterprise systems such as
ADVANA
to support execution tracking and de-obligations
Assist with
fiscal year-end closeout
and process improvement initiatives.
Provide organizational and administrative support to the comptroller’s office.
Preferences:
Experience with
GFEBS
and
DAI
systems
Knowledge of fiscal year-end closeout and financial tracking processes.
Ability to support year-end closeout activities.
Comfortable working independently, multitasking, and applying sound judgment in support of financial operations and execution activities.
