Westaff is seeking Machine Attendants for our client in Merrimack NH!
Entry level position!
1st Shift: 6:55am-3:15pm
2nd Shift: 2:55pm-11:15pm
3rd Shift: 10:55-7:15am
Summary To monitor one and/or multiple workstation(s) at the machine(s) to ensure that the packaging and inspection of the parts produced are in accordance with our safety procedures and the customer’s standards.
Responsibilities
Handling of product produced from a machine
This could include trimming or clipping product
Packaging, weighing, and labeling product
Inspection of all product produced at the machine
At times measuring parts with gauge pins to ensure that they are acceptable to the customer’s print
Maintaining a clean, neat, and organized workstation
Communicating any quality issues to the Shift Supervisor
Communicating and training the Machine Attendants on the next shift
Qualifications
Must be able to read and understand all the documentation required to perform assigned tasks (Work Order and the Operator Responsibility Sheet)
Basic math skills
Basic computer skills
Should be able to speak, understand and read English
Good communication skills
Positive attitude and show initiative
