Salary:
$125,000 to $135,000 (Negotiable based one experience)
Shift: M-F
8am to 5pm
Position Summary Overall responsibility for the Accounting Department and as an executive oversees cost controls, budgeting, profit planning, cash management, financial analysis, forecasting, negotiating and administration. Hands on position that involves day to day involvement with departments within the Company and directly reports to the President of the Company. Directs and coordinates the organization's financial and budget activities to fund operations, maximize investments and increase efficiency. Capital expenditure - equipment/leases. Review all contracts, present monthly balance sheets and income statements to management and accountant.
Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or closely related field required; Master's degree preferred
An experienced leader and financial executive with ten years managing the accounting department in a recycling plant or similar environment.
Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and various accounting programs. Proficient in Acumatica ERP or similar ERP program highly desired.
A high sense of urgency, strength of conviction, a level head, and a desire to work closely as a partner with the other senior members of the company's management team.
Demonstrated strong business background; strong analytical skills; excellent oral and written communication skills; excellent problem‑solving skills; ability to think strategically and act tactically; ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously with little or no direction; ability to operate under pressure in a fast‑paced environment; strong influencing skills; ability to interface internally and externally to ensure successful, high‑quality outcomes.
