The purpose of this position is to support the research and management of the Messing Lab. Responsibilities

Analyze existing RNA-seq data. Perform animal behavior studies, brain microinjections, and histological studies of brain tissue. Write and revise manuscripts. Provide skilled experimental and reagent support for postdocs and graduate students. Required Qualifications

Minimum of a master's degree in biochemistry, neurosciences, life sciences or related field with two years of related productive laboratory experience. Excellent data management and data analysis skills. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and time management skills. Experience in cell culture. Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate. Preferred Qualifications

PhD in biochemistry, neurosciences, life sciences or related field with two years of related productive laboratory experience. Salary

$60,000 Working Conditions

Monday - Friday Some weekend, evening or holiday hours as needed by design of experiments. Required Materials
