Required Qualifications
Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
Strong working knowledge of core computer science concepts, including data structures, software engineering, operating systems, and computer architecture
Preferred Qualifications
Ph.D. teaching experience at university level
Research at the university level
Industry experience
Administrative experience and committee work at the university level
Experience developing an application from design to publication
Primary Responsibilities
Teach Computer Science classes.
Work with department members to ensure teaching objectives match program objectives and facilitate student transition from lower‑level to upper‑level coursework.
Maintain safety of others; exercise due caution and practice safe work habits at all times. Position is Security Sensitive.
Salary details:
Masters Degree under 20 students: $850/credit or $2,550 per 3 SCH
Masters Degree over 20 students: $500 extra
Ph.D. under 20 students: $900/credit or $2,700 per 3 SCH
Ph.D. over 20 students: $500 extra
Summer Faculty: $4,200 (Per 3 SCH), max 6 SCH per session, prorated for fewer than 10 students
Summer courses above the max 6 SCH are paid at the overload rate of $2,130
