ThePhibro Ethanol Equipment Technician

is an integral part of our Sales & Marketing

team based out of our US - Teaneck, NJ - Remote site.

Position Purpose This position will focus on providing installation and preventative maintenance of PhibroEthanol’s product dosing equipment, in a collaborative effort with Phibro Ethanol Salesand Technical Services. This position will work within a team setting to rovide customized service to the sales and tech service organization and our customer base.

Candidate Profile This candidate is highly energetic and entrepreneurial with a keen appreciation of theNorth American Ethanol market. A successful candidate is self-motivated anddemonstrates a strong inclination for problem solving. They would provide ambition andfocus and help support the Phibro Ethanol team in growing our biofuels business bysupporting both current and new/future products. A successful candidate must be capableof rolling up their sleeves and take personal responsibility for success. They are closelyconnected to the day-to-day opportunities and challenges of the industry. They must be willing to travel and have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of a high performingorganization.

Key Responsibilities

Execute PM’s per CMMS schedule

Assist with all aspects of equipment installation

Assist with customer installation training

Support existing business through shutdown/outage borescoping of systems cleanedby our products and chemistries – or in preparation for turning on our products

Onsite startup and commissioning of equipment

Perform onsite and remote troubleshooting of equipment using IOT platform and otheravailable tools

Drive Phibro Ethanol initiatives including new product implementation

Maintain stewardship of Phibro Brand, Image and Identity Guidelines

Utilize Phibro resources and training to develop strong working knowledge of productportfolio

Ensure high quality technical support of customer base

Work with sales and tech service teams to gather technical information, to promote sales and new products within the biofuels and distilled spirits industry

Mechanical aptitude

Knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and prints

Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving skills

Manages own time and is able to operate independently

Familiarity with plant safety requirements

Communicates effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences

Ideal candidate has some industry experience

Sound computer skills with Microsoft Office products

Able to work effectively in difficult situations

Understands Phibro Ethanol and our customer’s business models and can determinehow customer decisions are made and influenced

Open to collaboration and effectively interacts with other functions across the PAHCteam

Approaches their role with an “all hands-on deck” attitude and will work at a situationuntil it is resolved

Not easily deterred from meeting their objective

Resourceful, will seek out alternatives to achieve goals

High Integrity

Other Requirements and Expectations

High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)

Industrial maintenance experience preferred, technical certifications a plus

Ability to lift and handle up to 50 pounds safely

Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements

Actively report and record information on customer interaction, preventative andreactive maintenance work, as well as monthly performance metrics

Ability to travel, expectation is approximately 50-70%
