Job Summary
Serpentini Chevrolet of Willoughby Hills is currently seeking highly motivated individuals with a passion for the automotive industry to join our team as a Technician/ Skilled Labor/Contractor. As a Technician, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of vehicles, use state-of-the-art tools and equipment, and receive ongoing training to develop and enhance your skills. GM experience is NOT required, so if you have a strong mechanical background and a desire to learn, we encourage you to apply!
Compensation & Benefits This is a full‑time, hourly position with a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to over $100,000+ per year based on experience and skill level. Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair a wide range of automotive issues on various makes and models of vehicles
Perform routine maintenance and service tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections
Use diagnostic equipment and resources to accurately troubleshoot and fix problems
Communicate with service advisors and customers to explain repair recommendations and provide cost estimates
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working in the service department
Complete all vehicle repairs and services efficiently and accurately, while maintaining quality workmanship
Keep a clean and organized work area
Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up‑to‑date with industry advancements and trends
Requirements
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record required
Previous experience as an automotive technician or a strong mechanical background
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a teamli>
Must have own tools
ASE certifications are a plus, but not required
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
