Job Title: Maintenance Electrician
Job Description
As an Electrician, you will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair all electrical hardware used on industrial equipment ranging from 12v-24v, including sensors, switches, push buttons, pilot lights, relays, contactors, motors, transformers, and cables. Additionally, you will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair power distribution systems from 120v-480v, including transformers, circuit breakers, and fuses. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing control hardware for equipment interfaces, including Ethernet, DeviceNet, RS-485, and RS-232 serial communication. Your role will include troubleshooting and repairing cabling and connectors for equipment, as well as laying out, fabricating, and installing electrical conduit and hardware. You will use various types of testing equipment to locate and correct issues.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical hardware from 12v-24v on industrial equipment.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair power distribution systems from 120v-480v.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair control hardware for equipment interfaces.
Troubleshoot and repair cabling and connectors for equipment.
Layout, fabricate, and install electrical conduit and hardware.
Use various types of testing equipment to locate and correct issues.
Essential Skills
4+ years experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment in a high-speed manufacturing environment.
4+ years experience troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining power distribution systems for industrial equipment.
4+ years experience performing conduit layout, bending, and installation of power runs in 110v, 240v, and 480v supplies.
4+ years experience reading and interpreting blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Aerial Lift/Forklift certification is a plus.
Experience with PLCs, including Allen-Bradley or Siemens, is a plus.
