Part‑Time Teller – Conshohocken Join Firstrust Bank as a Part‑Time Teller. As a front‑line employee, you will deliver world‑class service, build lasting relationships, and support branch goals.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Greet customers with a warm and friendly smile, creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Provide timely and professional service, expanding the customer base through consultative sales techniques, and handle all direct handling of funds.

Process transactions efficiently and accurately (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, account inquiries) ensuring compliance with banking regulations.

Handle large sums of cash, maintain assigned limits, and perform cash settlement.

Educate customers on banking products and services, helping them make informed decisions and meeting sales goals.

Build strong relationships, offering personalized solutions such as opening deposit products and selling consumer credit products with an NMLS license.

Cross‑sell bank products and services, maximizing customer satisfaction and contributing to growth.

Stay up to date with industry trends, attend training sessions, and workshops to enhance skills.

Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure seamless integration of services.

Adhere to banking regulations and compliance standards, maintaining integrity and confidentiality.

Continuously seek ways to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Proactively resolve all customer issues, working with urgency to exceed expectations.

Assist the Universal Supervisor Teller, verify cash shipments, conduct teller, vault and ATM audits as needed.

Comply with all opening and closing procedures.

Report teller differences daily and assist with related duties.

Physical and Sensory Requirements

Prolonged periods sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.

Ability to learn and sell bank products and services; function in a branch environment using standard office equipment.

Outgoing, proactive, strong listening and verbal communication skills.

Lifting heavy coin trays and standing or sitting for prolonged periods while working on a computer.

Willingness to travel locally for training or staffing needs.

Education, Training and Experience

High School diploma or equivalent.

1–2 years of related experience.

Basic computer skills.

Cash handling and/or customer service experience a plus.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to build rapport with customers.

Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Ability to navigate multiple software applications.

Knowledge of banking regulations and compliance standards.

Adaptability to changing priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Excellent judgment, decision‑making, and problem‑solving skills.
