Pay for this skilled welder position is $20.75+ dependent on relevant experience. A DAY IN THE LIFE AS A WELDER As a Welder you are at the heart of our fabrication process. You will utilize various welding techniques (TIG, MIG, shielded metal arc, and gas metal arc) and interpret basic blueprints to weld parts in flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead positions. You may clamp, hold, tack‑weld, heat‑bend, bolt, or grind parts as necessary to fabricate the final product to specifications.
Quality is critical for our equipment. You will inspect finished products using precision measuring tools to ensure specifications are met, then enter data into our quality management system. “Safety Always” is our motto; you will support this by monitoring equipment and materials to ensure safe operation while following safety procedures.
Qualifications For a Welder
Technical degree/certificate in welding or comparable experience
Ability to read and interpret basic blueprints and operate a variety of welding equipment
Use of logic and reasoning in daily decision making and problem solving
Basic computer proficiency (ability to utilize our system to track jobs)
Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs
WORK SCHEDULE AS A WELDER The typical schedule for this full‑time position is Monday – Thursday from 5 am to 2:30 pm and Friday from 5 am to 9 am.
