This role focuses on addressing the emotional, social, and academic needs of students and collaborating with families, educators, and healthcare providers to promote positive outcomes.

Essential Functions

-Conduct assessments to identify students’ emotional, social, and academic needs.

-Develop and implement individualized intervention plans to support students facing challenges.

-Provide individual and group counseling to students dealing with mental health issues, trauma, or behavioral concerns.

-Utilize evidence-based practices to promote resilience and coping skills.

-Respond to crises involving students, providing immediate support and coordination with emergency services as needed.

-Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safety and well-being during crises.**Qualifications**Education

Master's Degree Social Work required

Licenses and Credentials

Social Worker [Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker - LICSW - State License] - Generic - HR Only required

Experience

Experience in social work, mental health counseling, or a related field 2-3 years required and Experience working in educational institutions or a similar setting 0-1 year preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development, mental health issues, and effective intervention strategies.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.

- Compassionate and empathetic, with a strong commitment to supporting student well-being.
