RESPONSIBILITIES Baystate Health Emergency Department Technician (ED Tech) is responsible for direct patient care including hygiene, skin care, mobility, transfers, and monitoring. This multi-skilled incumbent performs a variety of duties related to phlebotomy, EKGs, assisting with procedures, taking vitals, recording drainage patterns, and wound care. The ED Tech is also responsible for assisting with elimination of body wastes, performing POC testing and communicating effectively with patients and team members.
SCHEDULE
Per-diem, 1st shift – 7am-7:30pm
Every other weekend, every other holiday
Differential pay for weekends and holidays.

QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or GED
CPR-Basic Life Support of Healthcare Provider required from the American Heart Association
Minimum of 1-3 years of direct patient care experience
EMT or ED/Urgent Care experience or experience through the military medical units, preferred
