We are hiring talented Project Technicians and Designers with expertise in land surveying. This position offers the opportunity to work under a Professional Licensed Surveyor as a mentor and be part of a dedicated field team focused on enhancing local communities.
Job Description This role involves reviewing, analyzing, and reducing raw data from field operations and preparing designs, drawings, reports, and calculations for projects. You will work closely with Project Managers to obtain project information and ensure drawings are accurate and complete. Additionally, you will contribute to improving our service to clients and collaborate on assignments as part of a team involved in the planning, organization, and development of projects while maintaining proper documentation and reports.
Responsibilities
Review, analyze, and reduce raw data from field operations.
Prepare designs, drawings, reports, and calculations for projects.
Work closely with Project Managers to obtain project information and ensure drawings are accurate and complete.
Identify improvements to enhance service to clients.
Collaborate on assignments as part of a team involved in planning, organizing, and developing projects.
Assist other project teams or departments with technical, field, or other duties as needed or requested.
Desired Qualifications And Skills
Bachelor’s or Associate’s Degree in Drafting and Design.
1–3 years of proven experience in CADD drafting/design.
Fundamentals of Surveying Examination completion is a plus.
Willingness to obtain at least four years of combined office and field experience in land surveying, including at least two years of responsible charge of land surveying projects under the supervision of a Professional Land Surveyor.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Carlson Survey, Trimble Business Center software, and MS Office.
Hydrographic experience is a plus.
Self‑motivation and exceptional attention to detail.
