Central Minnesota Jobs and Training Services, Inc. General Duties: Performs and assists with tasks related to sewer, water, street, storm sewer, and parks maintenance. Individual will be trained in all aspects of public works with a goal of developing an employee that would be qualified to fill a Public Works Maintenance Worker I position. Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma or G.E.D. Applicants must have the ability to safely lift heavy objects in excess of 50 pounds, walk and stand for long periods of time, and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse conditions. Ability to: communicate orally and in writing; understand and follow written and oral instructions; take initiative and carry out tasks independently. Driving record, criminal background, drug & alcohol testing and reference checks will be conducted prior to hire.
