Production Technician - 8h 2nd Shift – Plastipak

What we offer
Up to $18.00/hour plus overtime after 40 hours a week
2nd Shift: 3 PM – 11 PM, Monday – Friday

Responsibilities
Operate extrusion and blow‑molding manufacturing equipment in a clean, safe and climate‑controlled environment
Monitor equipment and adjust settings (heat control, water cooling temperatures, hydraulic pressure, etc.) to produce high‑quality rigid plastic containers
Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine preventative maintenance
Ensure customer requirements are met by performing quality checks for specifications such as bottle weights and dimensions
Collaborate with the team to identify continuous improvement opportunities focused on safety, reliability, quality and scrap reduction
Grow your skills through formal and on‑the‑job training, with opportunities for career advancement
Qualifications
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
Minimum of one year experience as a Manufacturing Production Technician working with high‑volume production equipment
Working knowledge of extrusion or blow‑molding equipment preferred
Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics and electrical/ mechanical systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
