Plastic Case Operator – Assemble – 2nd Shift
Join ABB as a Plastic Case Operator – Assemble – 2nd Shift.
Location: Pinetops, NC. Report to the Production Supervisor at ABB’s manufacturing plant.
Responsibilities
Support the unit in achieving production targets by adhering to established systems and processes.
Conduct all types of assembly work to produce semi‑finished or final products, systems, and panels, including packing integrated with production lines.
Perform work manually or with light hand tools.
Carry out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
Operate within standard operating procedures and maintain a clean work area.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
Knowledge and use of tools – tape measure, calipers, grinders, or other hand tools as needed.
Ability to safely use a ladder and lift, push, or pull up to 40 lb.
Working Conditions Manufacturing plant environment requiring hands‑on and technical tasks, occasional lifting, climbing stairs or ladders, walking, bending, twisting, and standing for extended periods. Frequent computer use for data entry, monitoring, and communication. Personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves, and steel‑toed shoes are required, and adherence to safety guidelines is essential.
