Job Requirements

You must be 16 years of age or older.

You must be able to operate all equipment.

You must stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.

You must prepare product and receive and process telephone orders.

You must take inventory and complete associated paperwork.

You must clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Orientation and training will be provided on the job.

You must be able to comprehend and give correct written instructions, and communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions/Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).

Must be able to make correct monetary change.

Strong verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.

Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid, accurate, precise movements.

Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Work Conditions

Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.

In‑store temperatures range from 36° to 90°+ in some work areas.

Exposure to fumes from food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, and hot surfaces/tools up to 500° or higher.

Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts present.

Required talking, hearing, near and mid‑range vision, depth perception, and the ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces.

Work involves directing activities, repetitive tasks, working alone and with others, working under stress, meeting strict quality control standards, dealing with people, analyzing and compiling data, and making judgments and decisions.

Additional Physical Requirements

Climbing: Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladder to change prices on signs, wash walls, and perform maintenance.

Stoop/Bending: Forward bending at the waist necessary at the pizza assembly station and front counter; repeated continuously (30‑45 seconds) during the day.

Crouching/Squatting: Occasional, to stock shelves and clean low areas.

Reaching: Continuous; up, down, forward, including above 72 inches for certain tasks.

Hand tasks: Eye‑hand coordination essential; frequent use of hands for shaping dough, manipulating a pizza peel, using a rolling cutter, and handling boxes.

Machines, tools, equipment: Use of pencils/pens, computers, telephones, calculators, and pizza equipment as required.
