Overview
Stratolaunch is a technology accelerator that engineers operationally realistic testing at Mach 5+ and delivers flight data critical to hypersonic environment. The Project Scheduler will manage schedules for multiple aerospace projects.
Responsibilities
Develop resource‑loaded plans for company projects
Contribute to budget management for projects
Keep team current on upcoming activities and deadlines
Manage engineering schedules for all projects
Develop tools for analysis of schedule tasks
Perform schedule‑based risk analysis on projects
Evaluate risks and risk‑mitigation plans for appropriateness
Communicate weekly and monthly with Hypersonics Program Director
Integrate complex aerospace systems
Travel as needed to support director and department
Demonstrate honesty, responsibility, integrity, and fulfillment of commitments
Qualifications Required
Systems engineering, project management, launch vehicle integration experience
Technical aerospace leadership with subcontractor coordination
Requirements development with interface management focus
Risk management experience
Facilitation skills and communication of technical challenges
Initiative and prioritization to fit business goals
Complex aerospace system development background
Adaptability to changing priorities
Preferred
Experience with government agencies
Experience with air‑launch programs
Security clearance
Engineering software tools
MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Requirements management tools
MS Project
Configuration management
Education & Experience
Senior Program Scheduler – bachelor’s degree and 5‑10 years of experience
Staff Program Scheduler – bachelor’s degree and 10‑20 years of experience
Principal Program Scheduler – bachelor’s degree and 20+ years of experience
Work Environment
Location: Mojave, CA (site‑based work)
Occasional travel to other Stratolaunch locations
Paid Maternity and Parental Leave
