Position Summary A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service. When no manager or Operations Supervisor is onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth operations, and completes all opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions

Work effectively with store management and store crews

Supervise the store’s crew through assigning, directing, and following up on all activities

Effectively communicate information to and from store management and crews

Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints

Promote CVS customer service culture (greet, offer help, thank)

Handle all customer relations issues in accordance with company policy and promote a positive shopping experience

Maintain customer/patient confidentiality

Price merchandise

Stock shelves

Execute displays, signage and inventory of weekly promotion and seasonal merchandise

Execute display and maintenance of off-shelf merchandise

Reset departments following POGs

Required Qualifications

Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills, and computer skills

Advanced communication and supervision skills

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, and weekend shifts, to work overtime as needed, and to respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a retail supervisor

Education High School Diploma or Equivalent. Preferred but not required.

Anticipated Weekly Hours 29 hours

Time Type Part time

Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is $18.94 - $27.94 per hour.
