Overview The Machinist III produces precision parts using machine tools and equipment. This involves measuring workpieces, installing machine parts, and performing quality inspections.

Responsibilities

Estimate dimensions of workpieces, products, or equipment

Maintain a safe and clean work environment

Produce or repair precision parts using both manual and automated equipment and accurate measurements

Set up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools in order to perform precision machining operations

Program more complex parts to be machined

Measure and outline the parts to be machined using various devices and tools in order to obtain accurate dimensions

Assist with design of basic manufacturing fixtures

Qualifications QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Minimum of three (3) years machining experience.

CNC Programming experience.

Applicable experience in lieu of a Degree may be considered.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

This position requires access to technology, materials, software or hardware that is controlled by either ITAR or EAR U.S. export laws. As a condition to this job offer, in order to be employed in this position, you must be able to obtain a U.S. Government export license(s), as required by law.

Pay Range:

$27.74 - $33.99 hourly . Applicable pay within the posted range may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, geographical location, job function of the position, education, and experience of the successful candidate.
