ACID TECHNICIAN – Plant 3
Howmet Aerospace is seeking a dedicated ACID TECHNICIAN for our Plant 3 Whitehall Casting Operation. The position is off‑shift (1st/2nd, 3rd, and weekend crew) and includes possible overtime and weekend hours.
Responsibilities
Processes castings through various acid solutions.
Inspects grain on castings to customer specifications.
Prepares new acid solutions to customer specifications.
Complies with all EHS rules required for the position.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Makes overtime and off‑shift work as required by production schedules.
Works regular scheduled hours that may include Saturday and Sunday.
Qualifications Basic Qualifications
High‑school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
Minimum of two years of work experience, or six months continuous manufacturing experience.
Legally authorized to work in the United States; employment eligibility verification required at hire. Visa sponsorship is not available.
Preferred Qualifications
Industrial manufacturing and/or quality control/non‑destructive inspection experience.
Previous experience with industrial radiography.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to read and interpret specifications.
