Front Office Host – Overnight / Night Auditor (Hyatt Regency Seattle) Summary Front Office Hosts are responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and promotions. This highly visible role gives guests the opportunity for casual conversation and has a direct impact on creating the guest experience. Other duties include processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquiries. The Front Office Host serves as the face of Hyatt and has the opportunity to make a lasting impression on our guests.

As an hourly colleague of the Front Desk, this position is eligible to participate in applicable upsell incentive programs. The colleague must be the responsible party for assisting the guest with the upgrade at the Front Desk.

Hourly Rate The hourly rate range for this position is from $29.70/hour to $31.31/hour. The starting rate is $29.70/hour. Colleagues who have remained in this position with Hyatt for four years or more receive an additional rate of $30.29/hour. Lead colleagues receive rates of $30.70/hour and $31.31/hour respectively.

Qualifications

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others

Must be able to work in an overnight environment

Open availability – ability to work overnight, weekends and holidays

Refined verbal and written communication skills

Great and thorough attention to detail

Ability to stand long periods of time

Previous customer service experience preferred

Candidates must be able to work independently and are resourceful, especially in overnight setting
