$19 per hour (includes shift differential)
Summary The Warehouse/Logistics Associate’s main duties include loading and unloading raw materials and semi‑finished goods into various production lines until they are processed into final products as well as assisting in inventory and cycle counting projects. Will be expected to cross‑train on logistics side of warehouse.
Roles and Responsibilities
Load and unload incoming and outgoing materials and products.
Move materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas.
Identify and label materials and record their locations in the warehouse/on the shelves to maintain inventory.
Prepare finished products for shipment by identifying their location, then pulling, packing, and loading them.
Operate trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, scanners and other equipment to move freight.
Perform and report cycle counts.
Comply with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines.
Safety
Safety Equipment – must always wear assigned appropriate personal protective equipment, including ESD composite toe safety shoes, and follow all safety procedure and regulations.
Clean room environment - special uniforms and Good Manufacturing Practices to protect product from cross contamination.
Quality
Sort incoming materials for the production processes.
Assists with company Quality sorts/inspections.
Adaptability
The ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
Delivery Date Management
Performs all duties in a manner that promotes team concept and reflects the company's mission, philosophy, and core values of respect, excellence, and stewardship.
Requirements
Must wear proper PPE (Personal Protective and Product Protective Equipment).
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, high‑speed environment, follow standardized work and adhere to safe work practices in a continuous improvement environment.
Must adhere to all food grade requirements.
Perform necessary pre‑operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment.
Perform effectively under conditions of fluctuating workload; must respond accordingly.
Must be flexible with work hours.
