Warehouse Clerk – Land 'N' Sea Distributing, Inc. – Suwanee, GA
Join our team as a Warehouse Clerk working the day shift (Monday‑Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm). This entry‑level role supports our distribution operations by ensuring timely, accurate picking, packing, shipping, and receiving of marine and RV parts throughout the US and Canada.
Position Overview Land 'N' Sea Distributing is a full‑service wholesale distributor that has served the marine and RV industries for over 50 years.
As part of our warehouse team, you will operate a forklift or hand truck to move equipment, maintain a clean and safe work area, and comply with all quality standards.
Responsibilities
Operate forklift or hand truck to move, convey, or hoist equipment and parts throughout the warehouse.
Comply with quality standards, policies, and safety procedures.
Keep the work area clean and perform safety inspections on equipment and storage areas.
Accurate picking, packing, and shipping of parts to support quick turnaround of orders.
Determine shipment methods, prepare documentation, and confirm package integrity.
Receive and unpack merchandise, verify accuracy of deliveries, and position items appropriately in the warehouse.
Perform general labor tasks—including loading, unloading, lifting, and moving materials—up to 50 lbs occasionally and 20 lbs frequently.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of storage areas and stock shelves as needed.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Dependable attendance and good teamwork skills.
Priority given to candidates with prior forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Basic computer skills preferred.
Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
Working Conditions Work typically requires standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
Employees may be exposed to dust, temperature extremes, or high, precarious locations.
Employee is often required to load and unload materials on concrete or metal grating walkways.
Pay & Benefits Competitive starting wage: $16.00 to $21.00 per hour, back‑to‑back.
