Class A CDL Driver
About the Role Local delivery only – you will be home every night.
Impact You Make As a CDL Driver, you will safely transport materials that keep our communities safe by ensuring customers receive what they need to provide clean water and heating/cooling.
Apply knowledge of commercial driving regulations
Verify all loads to ensure accurate customer deliveries
Properly load and unload materials from the truck, maintaining inventory control
Operate Class A vehicle with a combined vehicle weight of over 26,000 lbs
Drive gooseneck trailers, semi with flatbed, and in various conditions including urban and construction settings
What You Need To Succeed
21 years of age or older
Valid Commercial Driver’s License (Minimum Class B CDL)
Clean driving record
Physical & Mental Requirements
Valid Driver’s License – meet all state requirements for the vehicle class
Attendance – maintain scheduled days, hours, and onsite presence at the assigned location
Lift up to 50 pounds frequently; sit and stand for extended periods
Operate office equipment including computers, copiers, and related tools
Oral communication skills – speaking, clarity, recognition
Written communication skills – writing, reading, comprehension, expression
Mental capacities including analytical thinking, attention to detail, adaptability, critical thinking, teamwork, and time management
