Clean Harbors in Norcross, GA is seeking a Heavy Duty Diesel Mechanic (Diesel Vehicle Mechanic) to join a safety‑conscious team. The role focuses on repairs and preventive maintenance for all company‑owned fleet vehicles.
Base Pay Range $14.00/hr – $37.00/hr
A competitive wage of $27‑$32 an hour is offered based on experience.

Responsibilities
Ensure health and safety compliance by following all safe work practices.
Move company equipment safely on the yard as needed.
Assist drivers with addressing outstanding vehicle issues.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks and inspections on company vehicles and equipment.
Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, battery checks, and lubrication of equipment.
Complete daily checklists as required.
Ensure equipment is parked and secured in compliance with facility permits and DOT requirements.
Maintain facility housekeeping duties.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to work in a team environment.
At least 1 year of experience working on heavy‑duty trucks and equipment.
At least 1 year of DOT inspection experience.
Must provide own basic tools.
Related mechanical certifications preferred (not required).
Ability to pass a background, drug, and physical test upon hire.
