Job Description AutoZone’s store teams are the frontline of WOW! customer service, ensuring customers find the right parts and solutions for their automotive needs. Store employees maintain well-stocked inventory, assist customers with product selection, and provide expert advice to enhance the shopping experience. They play a vital role in driving sales, maintaining store operations, and fostering a positive, knowledgeable retail environment.
As a Delivery Driver, you will put your safe driving skills to work, support commercial customers and DIY shoppers, and help the store teams maintain a high‐touch experience.
Responsibilities
Deliver WOW! Customer Service by engaging with customers, providing clear automotive advice, and offering installation support.
Collaborate closely with store personnel and commercial accounts to ensure smooth teamwork and strong relationships.
Maintain efficient delivery operations, meeting time and accuracy goals while following company policies.
Drive company‑provided vehicles, ensuring safe and timely deliveries of automotive parts to commercial customers.
Load and unload parts accurately according to route schedules.
Collect returns, cores, and parts from nearby stores or outside vendors.
Adhere to Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) guidelines and fleet safety policies.
Process customer payments securely in accordance with company policy.
Stay updated on promotions and automotive products through AutoZone systems; maintain delivery vehicles and report issues promptly.
Qualifications
Minimum age 18.
Valid driver’s license and compliance with AutoZone’s driver safety requirements.
Basic knowledge of automotive parts.
Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
You’ll Go The Extra Mile If You Have
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
Strong communication skills in both Spanish and English.
Previous experience in automotive retail.
Hazmat endorsement preferred.
