Responsibilities
Discover a different side of nursing care at Turning Point! Intake/Admissions Nurse Turning Point Care Center has an opening for a full-time RN in the Intake/Admissions department. The RN promotes a therapeutic milieu and provides quality patient care. Collaborates with Clinical Services and other departments to accomplish the treatment goals of Turning Point. Our Intake/Admissions RNs work with potential patients, referral sources, and medical providers over the phone and with new patients in person. Responding expeditiously to patient referrals Review of patient records Processing patient admissions Patient assessments Obtaining admission approvals Shifts available are 10am-10pm and 4pm-4am with a 3/4 schedule. Experience in substance abuse / mental health treatment, preferred.
