Housing Financial Coordinator

Wage: $72,966.40 – $103,355.20 (starting wage contingent upon experience)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Job Summary: Assists in directing the operational, financial, and personnel activities of the Housing Authority. Assists in financial oversight and compliance across federally funded housing programs, including Public Housing, Housing Choice Voucher Programs, and other Affordable Housing programs.
Responsibilities
Supervision of Housing Authority accounts payable and receivable
Grant accounting
Financial analysis
Preparation of annual audit work papers
Ensuring compliance with HUD and GAAP standards
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution and two years of related experience; or six years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience. Degree in Accounting.
Experience in accounting.
Must pass criminal background check.
Preferred Qualificationsh3>
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited educational institution and three to five years of related experience; or seven years of related experience and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in financial analysis, in federal grant accounting, and/or HUD programs.
