Position Summary A Shift Supervisor is a key leader supporting the CVS Store Management team in driving store execution and performance while building consumer loyalty to CVS/pharmacy through a focus on excellent customer service. When there is no manager or Operations Supervisor onsite, the Shift Supervisor leads the store staff, ensures smooth store operations, and oversees all opening and closing procedures.

Essential Functions

Manage and supervise the store crew, assigning, directing and following up on all tasks.

Work effectively with store management and crews to achieve operational goals.

Communicate information clearly both to and from store management and crew.

Assist customers with questions, problems and complaints, reinforcing the CVS customer‑service culture (greeting, offering help, and thanking customers).

Handle all customer‑relations issues in accordance with company policy, promoting a positive shopping experience for all CVS customers.

Maintain customer/patient confidentiality at all times.

Price merchandise, stock shelves, and execute the displays, sign, and inventory of weekly, promotional, and seasonal merchandise.

Execute the display and maintenance of off‑shelf merchandise and reset departments following POGs.

Required Qualifications

Deductive reasoning ability, analytical skills and computer skills.

Advanced communication and supervision skills.

Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning, overnight, weekend shifts, overtime as needed, and respond to urgent issues at the store when they arise.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience as a retail supervisor.

Education High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required.

Work Schedule Anticipated weekly hours: 20

Time type: Part time

Pay Range The typical pay range for this role is $18.90 – $27.90 per hour. The actual base salary will depend on experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
