Geriatrician Physician - Trager Institute/Optimal Aging Clinic - Louisville, KY

The University of Louisville Department of Family and Geriatric Medicine
seeks a full-time Geriatrician to join the department as clinical faculty. This is a non-academic role.
Applicants should be board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine and obtain licensure in the state of Kentucky. The candidate should have demonstrated clinical and teaching skills, as there is an opportunity to work with family residents and geriatric fellows at the University of Louisville. While this position does not have a formal academic role, supervising geriatric medicine fellows and working with residents and students in all settings is a key portion of the position, and supporting our departmental missions for education and clinical service.
Ideally, applicants will have additional training in an accredited geriatric medicine fellowship. Commensurate prior experience in this discipline will also be considered. This position will consist of providing full-scope primary care and consultative care of the older adult at the multi-disciplinary Trager Optimal Aging Clinic. Additional clinical opportunities include nursing home care.

Experience:
Epic EMR experience is preferred. Strong computer and keyboarding skills
