Location: LSC-University Park, 20515 SH 249, Houston, TX 77070
Purpose and Scope The PT Coordinator II, Care Center provides facilitation of day‑to‑day operations of the Care Center.
Essential Job Functions
Provide facilitation of day‑to‑day operations of the Care Center and maintain the volunteer schedule.
Organize training, recruit volunteers, and promote the center.
Coordinate resources for the center.
Provide reports to supervisor.
Attend meetings and participate on committees.
Perform other reasonable related duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong attention to accuracy and detail.
Excellent knowledge of general office and software applications.
Ability to prepare and analyze reports.
Good organizational skills.
Ability to prioritize duties.
Basic graphic design experience preferred.
High level of customer service with staff and students.
Physical Abilities The work is sedentary with occasional walking, standing, bending, and light carrying. No special physical demands are required.
Work Schedule and Conditions
Equipment used: PC workstation, calculator, phone, and general office equipment.
Work performed in a climate‑controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED with at least 5 years of related work experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's degree.
Salary and Benefits Hourly pay rate is $20.29. Benefits include tuition waiver, tax‑deferred retirement plan, and a supportive collegial environment.
