Cliff Drysdale Management is excited to announce there are seasonal positions available at our award-winning racquets program at Stratton Mountain Resort in 2024. Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service for our members and guests to our site. Compensation is hourly rate and compensation varies depending on tasks. The schedule will consist of midweek hours with occasional hours over the holiday weekends.
Responsibilities
Providing beginning through advanced instruction for all levels of junior player
Executes the lesson plan put in place by the camp director for daily camp activities.
Takes part in all camp activities and encourages all campers to take part as well.
Escorts campers around the facility as needed (bathroom and water bottle station)
Attending the daily camp meeting and setting up for camp activities each morning
Consolidates reports with Director in regard to attendance and hours.
Ensures that the courts are in suitable playing condition before initiating daily programming.
Stringing and gripping rackets as necessary for clients
Shared court maintenance responsibilities
Demonstrate positive attitude and actions through a display of courtesy, service, cooperation, hospitality, sensitivity and professionalism.
Performs other duties as required.
Position Requirements:
Education/Experience:
Minimum 1-year experience required.
Physical Demands:
Frequently stands, walks, uses hands, talks, hears, reaches with hands and arms, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, or crawls. Occasionally sits. Regularly lifts up to 10 pounds and occasionally lifts up to 50 pounds.
Frequently works in outdoor weather conditions. Noise level is moderate.
Job Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Preferences
Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g. the staff may be required to communicate with English speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment used are in English)
Skill level equivalent to a minimum 4.0 USTA rating
