$112,254 – $142,156 per year
Job Overview Develops, implements, and evaluates orientation, competency assessment, training, and continuing education programs for the Dedicated Nursing Orientation Unit (NOURISH). The educator will transition newly graduated RNs from school nursing to bedside nursing in an acute‑care inpatient setting, validate competencies, provide 1:1 education and coaching, facilitate simulation as needed, and support clinical practice at point of care. Role models patient‑care practices through direct patient care.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required
Master’s degree in Nursing preferred
Minimum of two years inpatient experience in an acute‑care setting required
Knowledge of principles of adult learning
Experience using an electronic health record, preferably Epic
Ability to communicate and collaborate with others effectively
Competent in use of all Microsoft Office applications
Effective verbal and written communication skills
AHA BLS and ACLS Provider required
Current New Jersey RN license
National Nursing Certification required; if not certified at the time of hire, expected to receive certification within one year of hire
