Inpatient Psych Registered Nurse - Day Shift (7A-7:30P)
Base pay range: $47.00/yr - $55.00/yr.
Summary To function as a unit charge nurse managing staff assignments, breaks, duties and workflow. Monitor the unit for patient and staff safety. Deliver quality general/psychiatric nursing care to patients who are hospitalized for treatment of psychiatric or emotional disorders; support the hospital and program philosophy of care; ensure the safety, well‑being and appropriate care of each patient.

Job Requirements ADN
Possesses current RN licensure in the state of practice.
Demonstrates sound leadership skills, organizes activities and schedules for medical/non‑medical tasks during a shift.
Consistently high quality of clinical and interpersonal skills as an exemplary role model.
Basic knowledge of treatment procedures, interventions common to acute psychotic and non‑violent crises.
Familiarity with abnormal psychology, medical terminology, psycho‑pharmacy, psychotropic medications.
Problem‑solving, organizational and time‑management skills.
Crisis intervention, written and oral communication skills.
Facilitating or co‑facilitating process‑oriented and didactic groups.
Required License : Current CA‑RN license, CPR, CPI (or to be obtained within 30 days upon hire).
Job Type : Full‑time.
