As the MDS Coordinator, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (RAI) process, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations and leading efforts to maintain high-quality documentation and care plans.
Compensation
$83,000 – $87,000 per year, based on experience

Responsibilities
Coordinate the RAI process, ensuring timely completion of the MDS CAA’s interdisciplinary primary care plan.
Complete the Resident Assessment Instrument accurately and in a timely manner.
Enter RAI data into the electronic record‑keeping system.
Maintain and monitor compliance with state and federal RAI regulations.
Refer findings of inaccurate, untimely, or incomplete documentation to the Administrator and follow through for compliance.
Obtain insurance authorizations and concurrent reviews using insurance portals.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited nursing school with an Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree, or higher, and 5+ years of related experience.
Current RN license in the State of Michigan.
Current CPR‑BLS certification.
Critical thinking, sound judgment, strong organizational and follow‑up skills; attention to detail.
Ability to manage stress and time constraints in an emergency‑ready environment.
Proven ability to mentor, guide, and teach job expectations while upholding EPIC care values.
Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering passionate, innovative care.
