Position Summary The House Manager at Anam Memory Care plays a vital role in creating a safe, supportive, and loving home for individuals living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. This position is responsible for guiding daily operations, supporting caregivers, and ensuring each resident receives personalized, dignified, and high-quality care. The House Manager leads with compassion, teamwork, and a deep commitment to enhancing the lives of both residents and staff.

Job Type Full-Time

Hours Available shifts are 10:00 am - 6:00 pm or 12:00 pm - 800 (hours are flexible)

Key Responsibilities

Oversee the daily flow of the household to ensure a calm, organized, and nurturing environment for residents

Ensure consistent delivery of compassionate, high-quality care in alignment with Anam Memory Care values and standards

Serve as an on-call support resource for staff, providing guidance and problem-solving as needed

Participate in daily stand-up meetings to communicate resident needs, staffing updates, and priorities

Interview, welcome, and support new team members through the hiring and onboarding process

Participate in and support ongoing staff training focused on best practices in dementia care

Mentor and encourage caregivers, fostering a positive, respectful, and team-oriented workplace culture

Collaborate closely with leadership, care teams, and families to support resident well-being

Required Qualifications

Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Social Work, Human Services, or a related field OR equivalent hands-on experience in assisted living, memory care, or long-term care

Previous supervisory or managerial experience required

Experience working with individuals living with Alzheimer's disease or dementia preferred

Strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and a heart for service

Ability to lead with empathy while managing responsibilities in a fast-paced care environment

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in a memory care or assisted living setting

Knowledge of state regulations related to assisted living or memory care

CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
