Position Description
Ryder is immediately hiring for Warehouse Associates in Bolingbrook, Illinois.
Salary & Compensation
Hourly Pay: $19.00 per hour
Shift Premium: $1.00 per hour when working second shift
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Second shift 2:30 pm – 11:00 pm

Job Responsibilities
Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers and ensure all scanning is completed correctly.
Help train dock employees on new procedures; maintain facility security at shift end.
Investigate and resolve scanning issues and housekeeping matters.
Perform picking and packing duties; check for product or container damage.
Execute material moves pursuant to the location’s policies and procedures.
Participate in workgroup and other team activities to improve warehouse operations.
Perform housekeeping duties for assigned area.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
Six months of related warehouse experience (required).
One year or more of related warehouse experience (preferred).
Ability to operate powered industrial trucks such as forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, etc.; intermediate proficiency required.
May be required to operate manual or automated manufacturing equipment (e.g., packaging line); intermediate proficiency preferred.
Powered industrial truck certification.
Ability to read, do basic mathematics in English for safety, work instructions, and policies.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
Ability to input data into the warehouse management system used.
Work overtime as assigned.
Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Flexibility to operate and self‑driven to excel in a fast‑paced environment.
Capable of multi‑tasking, highly organized with excellent time‑management skills.
Detail oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
