Location Bottineau, ND – 725 10th St E, Bottineau, ND 58318, USA
Base Pay Range $24.00/hr – $36.00/hr
Shift & Schedule Varying shifts – PRN, minimum 30 hours per month, one weekend shift per month.
Job Summary The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long‑term care under the supervision of an RN, advanced practice provider, or physician. Responsibilities include assessment, medication administration, documentation, coordination with interdisciplinary team, and emergency response.
Responsibilities
Assess resident status and recognize problems, recommend solutions.
Administer medications or treatments as ordered.
Document resident interactions and outcomes related to medication, behavior, activity, and diet.
Collaborate with health care providers and maintain effective working relationships.
Communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse; Associate degree preferred.
Minimum of 18 years of age.
Current, unencumbered LPN license with state nursing board; multi‑state licensure privileges acceptable.
400 hours of LPN experience at another facility or supervised clinical experience across lifespan.
Knowledge of Resident Education principles and ability to develop self‑care programs.
IV therapy skills as required by North Dakota ordinance (AASPN or approved course).
Completion of required annual CEUs and competency training.
