Schedule for the Surgical Dental Assistant
Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities and Requirements of the Surgical Dental Assistant
1+ years of dental experience is required
Hand instruments and supplies to the dentist during procedures.
Utilize suction hoses and other equipment to keep the patient’s mouth clear and maintain a clean surgical area.
Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are properly sterilized and arranged for each procedure.
Prepare patients for surgery, including taking medical history and vital signs.
Explain surgical procedures to patients to alleviate anxieties and ensure understanding.
Document procedural notes and maintain accurate patient records.
Take X-rays and CBCT scans
